Visitors to an award-winning local beach are being warned to be vigilant about a parking scam after one driver was conned out of £500. A recent visitor to Tresaith beach in Ceredigion received a text message telling them that no payment had been made at the car park. The driver had bought a ticket at the Parking Eye machine but it only printed out half the registration number on the ticket. People parking at Tresaith beach have been targeted by scammers.
