Read excerpt
Port Rowan, on the shores of Lake Erie, is a quaint and welcoming village, with historic landmarks, natural wonders and deep rural traditions. The most beloved of these traditions is Bayfest â a weekend-long celebration that marks the end of summer. The festival celebrates its 25th anniversary this Labour Day. Port Rowan is best known for the nearby Long Point Provincial Park. Founded in 1921 on a sandy spit that juts out into Lake Erie, Long Point is one of Ontario’s oldest provincial parks.
