    Fejká has a new one out on Colorize, and it’s a good one. ‘We Were There’ is Fejka’s first original for the label, and he brought Kim Van Loo along for the vocal. The two go way back, they started writing together during the lockdowns, and that familiarity is obvious here. Nothing feels forced. Her voice just sits right in the middle of the track while everything builds around it. It’s melodic house, but the kind that’s more about mood than the drop.
