    A now-former Arkansas State Police Corporal resigned today following a single-car crash in an ASP patrol car. John M. Parker, 45, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and careless and prohibited driving. Parker was on duty when the crash occurred. ASP troopers arrested Parker following the crash after conducting field sobriety tests and determining his intoxication level. The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 278 near Monticello. Parker was not injured in the accident.
