MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A man is facing multiple charges after police say a suspicious package containing a threatening note was sent to a Marion fire station. Marion police said James Hamilton Estes turned himself in Monday. He is charged with threatening the life of a public employee, a hoax device or replica of a destructive device and conveying false information regarding the attempted use of a destructive device. Estes was taken to the Marion County Jail. His bond was set at $8,087.50.
