According to a Facebook post from the Holts Summit Fire Department, firefighters brought the blaze under control within five minutes of arriving. Employees at Speedy B’s reported a fire in the kitchen area. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke inside the business and located the fire behind a commercial grill. MSHP reported that a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek was traveling eastbound on I-70 behind a 2014 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. The crash report showed that the motorcycle had overturned, ejecting the driver, who was then struck by the Subaru traveling behind them. A juvenile was taken into custody Sunday after allegedly stealing a vehicle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers received notification of a stolen car traveling westbound along I-70. Troopers located the vehicle near mile marker 146, and a pursuit ensued. The post adds that Flock Safety Cameras were used to find the car. The vehicle eventually stopped near mile marker 141, where the juvenile was taken into custody.
