PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Congressman Jimmy Patronis and state Representative Michelle Salzman commemorated National Purple Heart Day. The two held a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park in Pensacola. The two recognized three-time Purple Heart recipient Chris Lambert who fought in Vietnam. In March 1968, Lambert's Marine Corps unit was attacked by Viet Cong. Fifteen marines and a Navy corpsman were killed. Lambert received two of this three Purple Heart medals for wounds he sustained during that fight. "
