An English Edgeland Chorus (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Meander Magazine’s third volume is about wildness, and where it actually lives. I went back to a farm hedgerow in February to see what I might learn there.Three years with one farm in south Oxfordshire went into this, on my own and with groups, working with attention and imagination as a bridge to the more-than-human world. It came out as a chorus rather than an essay. Voices: hedge, stream, badger, crow, farmer, child. There’s an epilogue at the end on the practice behind it.Use WYRD20 to get 2
