Note: this isn’t a pity story.By Monday, I’ll have sat through three funerals this month. Monday’s will be for a man who reached 92, the father of a dear friend, and he lived a big life. Generous, loving, expansive. The kind of life I’d wish on everyone, and I mean that as close to a prayer as I get. The others came younger than the average, for reasons I won’t go into here.
