   At the government’s June meeting and the nationwide online conference between the government and local authorities on July 4, the business community put forward a range of proposals to support GDP growth in the second half. Nguyen Van Than, chairman of Vietnam Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, said that achieving the 11.7 per cent growth target for the second half of the year, to offset the first-half performance, would require stronger support measures for the business sector.
