I’m a sucker for cartoons though I’ve never been very good at drawing them. So I borrow them. Like the ones I “borrowed” from René Brantonne, the French cartoonist (1903 - 1979) to produce my book Coronaville, Wait There’s More! It’s a repurposed cut up, paste up, scribble in of Brantonne’s Praline Fillette Moderne. I bought a destroyed copy of his comic book about young Praline and took it over, converting it into a dark parable and black comic opera about Trump’s Klandemic. During the lockdown
