As I sit down to write this column, it is raining. Rainy days often remind me of childhood camping trips: the sound of rain on the roof of the trailer, the propane lantern hissing, Yahtzee dice rattling in their cup. I read the entire âAnne of Green Gablesâ series in that trailer. I fell in love with Prince Edward Island, Matthew and Marilla, raspberry cordial and puffed sleeves.
