    The Boise Weekly is proud to not only feature area artists’ works on our covers, but to support artists and our journalistic mission through an annual auction. We have run the Boise Weekly Art Auction for nearly a quarter century and will continue to do so, though this year is now going to be different. The planning and marketing for the Oct. 8 auction began in earnest this summer; however, interest form the public has not met the threshold necessary to ensure it will be successful as planned.
