Vail, CO is a place I both love and hate. It has some of the best skiing in the world. The views from the mountain are breathtaking. The Gore Range is to the north and the Wilderness of the Holy Cross is to the south.It is also a place where the extraordinarily wealthy turn the rugged beauty of the mountains into a shopping mall.
