    Dear Friends of The Shore, I hope everyone enjoyed their summer season and is excited to settle into the cozy chill of autumn! Our new issue might just be our most varied one yet with sentient phone booths, ponds of blooming algae, a slip and slide, hazmat suits, gold eggs, and the absence of shine. Within these poems you may still spend time in the muggy days of an east coast summer, find your way into dry plains, on mountainsides covered in fog, the streets of cities, and everywhere in between

    Dear Friends of The Shore,Summer is coming to a close, which also means our submission period for Issue 31—Autumn 2026 is closed! We will re-open submissions for Issue 32: Winter 2027 on October 1st. If you are waiting to hear back from us, be sure to check your email in the coming days as our editors are working diligently to read each and every one of your pieces.As always, thank you for supporting The Shore, and we look forward to sharing our new issue with you (it goes live September 21st)!J
