My Google Account has been hacked! (opens the original)
Read excerpt
My Gmail account got hacked this morning, and I can no longer get access - nor can I get into my YouTube account, so it looks as though I’ve lost that too.I’ve been following the instructions on Google Help all day, but because the hackers have changed all the details in the account, to all intents and purposes it’s theirs, along with my YouTube channel. If anyone has gone through this themselves, I’d be grateful if you can let me know how you got yours back.

29 years ago, while the world mourned for Diana, 2 sons and 2 daughters sat and watched my mum’s last days. We watched her slowly deteriorate until she was struggling and fighting for every breath. Her last night was too much for me. I cried like a baby. It meant that the Paratrooper was the only ride playing different m
A Childhood event that shaped me. (opens the original)

I’ve just had a memory flash into my mind of an event that happened to me when I was either at junior or infant school. It’s something that has always guided me about how I treat people, and it had a far-reaching effect on me from the time it happened onward.I’d probably need to check this with two of my old schoolfriends from the time who will possibly remember better than I do, but I think at the time, our school had a playing field that we used to have to walk to from school. <a class="image-l
Holidays in the 70s (opens the original)
Read excerpt
This morning I heard The Stylistics’ ‘I Can’t Give You Anything (But My Love) on the radio.I just checked, and it was actually released in the UK this week in 1975.And it took me back to the Lakeside Holiday Camp at Burnham on Sea, where we had an Arcade and Bingo. This particular year though, we also had the cafe that was at the entrance to the holiday camp.It wasn’t a large cafe, but I suppose it would cater to 30-40 people. It was just what you’d imagine a cafe to be in the 70s.It was L-shape
