When I wrote here about my most recent miscarriage and the thoughts and frustrations it provoked about NFP, I received many thoughtful responses in both the comments and my inbox. Some offered solidarity, others shared their experiences with navigating NFP in challenging circumstances, and others still offered theological reflections on the meaning and purpose of suffering in the context of the female body (in fact, most did some combination of these).
