Book covers have always fascinated me. I think it was the Ace Double editions that started the interest. These are paperbacks containing two books with different cover designs. I liked to imagine the story each cover suggested and then run with it. It didn’t really matter to me (a young boy at the time) if the designs fit the story of each novel. Their emphasis on typography and visual storytelling is a feast for the mind as well as the eyes.
