Best Things Today:September 30, 20261. Got to be with my sister on her birthday! ❤ Not a usual occurrence. Isn’t that the funny thing? That for so much of our childhoods we share birthday events with our siblings (pretty neat trick in a family of 5 kids, there were chances of birthday cakes in MANY months of the year!) but by the time we’re adults unless circumstances bring us together or we make specific attempts to collect for birthdays, its much less common to be with a sibling on their birth

I have this sense that my emotions are right under the surface of everything right now, just riiiiiight there barely visible but kinda visible, this sense of walking around with the thinnest skin, the skin so easy to puncture that surely I’m mostly walking around with scabs and wounds trying to make more scabs. Best Things Today:September 26, 20261. Still harvesting tomatoes, still picking dahlias, still some basil on the plants, still some peppers out there ripening. The peppers in the dehydrator are NOT DRY YET, omg. The whole garage smells like hot peppers. I’m super glad I put the machine out there.
