The wheel of the year seems to be turning faster and faster. Summer is whizzing by and surprisingly we find ourselves at the beginning of harvest season, called Lughnasadh in Gaelic Culture. This is the time of the first harvest when people gathered together to give thanks for the abundance Mother Earth provides. Our current world situation of ongoing fires, extreme heat, and floods is diminishing harvests worldwide, making the intentions of the Lughnasadh celebrations more important than ever.
