I’m back! Heavy rain and a hot fire battled it out for 5 or 6 days on the Bare Fire in the Wyoming Range in Wyoming…of course. It took longer than I would have thought, but finally the rain won out. So just shy of two weeks on the Bare Fire, a hundred and twenty-five miles southeast of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, one wildland fire suppression truck was assigned to patrol the perimeter of the fire until there is finally no more heat or smoke, and the rest of us packed up and headed out.
