So we’ve made it up to the Orkney’s in a couple of weeks. The weather’s been fairly favourable and the sea has been settled. Our encounters have been mainly of the bird variety, despite the Merlin app saying that most of the birds are unlikely in our locations, we have been surrounded by sea birds.
