    Excerpt · Positive tone

From the moment we stepped out, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. We reached the Mehr

They have seen them in passing, through the windows of the local train between Mahim and Bandra, often

I really want to see this bird (opens the original)

    Excerpt · Positive tone

    Read excerpt

I really want to see a Black-backed Dwarf Kingfisher this monsoon. I reallllyyy want to! Im hoping that by putting this out into the world, this will manifest itself 😅I’ve always heard of birders going on monsoon trails specifically to see these jewel-coloured birds that nest in and around Mumbai once the rains set in. They wait around streams and nest-holes hoping to catch a glimpse of this bird as it flits back and forth with food for its chicks. Black-backed dwarf kingfishers (earlier called

Monsoon is here! (opens the original)

    Excerpt · Positive tone

    Read excerpt

Mumbai is in the midst of a long awaited monsoon, and I’m keep a watch out for all the new life that the rains brings with it. I’ve been seeing so much magic here over the last few days, that I’ve tried to ‘vlog’ about it on instagram! (Trust me, I’m super awkward on camera. I just needed a way to document these things I see). Everyday there is a new set of mushrooms, insects, and little plants. The dry, brown days of summer have given way to glossy green leaves and squishy soil!<div class="capt
