Special Dispatch - MFW SS27 (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Milan’s schedule is always a little lighter than Paris, and for me personally, it is even lighter than London. Milan is dominated by bigger, commercially successful brands that I don’t necessarily need to see in person, and bigger shows where, quite often, only one person from the magazine can be accommodated, so my boss goes to the majority of those, while I get the time to enjoy the city a bit. I leave gaps in my schedule to gorge myself on pasta and bread and olive oil in beautiful places pop
Special Dispatch - LFW SS27 (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Last season I got really worried—it looked like LFW was on its last legs; the schedule was scarce, many people were missing, and the shows were, often, unimaginative. The Philophiles are truly a global community that unites smart, strong-minded and passionate women who don’t want to dress for the male gaze, but instead go for stand-out pieces that other women will appreciate and, most importantly, that they themselves love.Tess Bruns is one of them. I first came across her Instagram page, drawn in by the highly individual way she wore her Celine pieces, h
AW26 Shopping List (opens the original)

I always say, “Love summer, hate everything else,” a quote I stole from Leandra Medine because this is exactly how I feel about it. But I also love September because, in fashion, it is like a new year. New resolutions, new energy to get back to dressing—layering, matching colours, wearing trousers, structured shoes and coats! I never follow trends, and I’m not actually keeping up with them, so there isn’t really anything I need to add to my wardrobe for the season. I have all my bases covered in
