We visit my father’s farm in the first week of September. He has apple trees and apricot trees and plum trees. I love walking among the blossoms in his haphazardly-constructed greenhouse (made of recycled things he’s found around this place or that) and looking at how different they are up close.Last December I made plum and pistachio bars with those plums.
