September 20, 2026 Sermon - The Math of Grace (opens the original)
Read excerpt
This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: The Math of Grace Today we're opening up Matthew chapter 20, verses 1 through 16 - the parable of the workers in the vineyard. Jesus tells a story about a landowner who hires workers throughout the day, some at dawn, some just an hour before quitting time. And then, at the end of the day, he pays every single one of them the exact same wage. The guys who worked all day in the hot sun get upset. That doesn't seem fair. And honestly? It doesn't seem fair to

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: Practical Holiness Today we're talking about a word that makes a lot of us squirm a little: holiness. Maybe it sounds like something for monks, or missionaries, or people a whole lot more spiritual than you and me. But that's not what the Bible means by it. Peter, writing to ordinary Christians scattered across the ancient world, tells them plainly: "You shall be holy, for I am holy." Not "you might be." Not "try to be, if you feel like it." This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: What Is Sin? Last week, I shared on the Holiness of God. When we truly see God as holy, three things happen. It humbles us. It cleanses us. And it sends us. Today we're tackling a subject that, honestly, most of us would rather skip. We're talking about sin. Not in some abstract, theological, ivory

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: The Holiness of God! Today we're wading into deep water. We're talking about the holiness of God. Now, I know that phrase can sound like something out of a dusty old textbook. Honestly, it might make you want to change the channel. But stay with me, because this is not a topic for theologians locked away in libraries. This is a topic for farmers and nurses and truck drivers and tired moms and every single one of us who has ever wondered, "What is God reall
August 16, 2026 Sermon - Buried To Live! (opens the original)
Read excerpt
This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: Buried To Live! Today's message is a special one. We had a baptism this morning at Our Savior's, and honestly, there is nothing quite like watching God claim a life right in front of your eyes. So I want to take this episode to walk through what baptism actually means, straight from God's Word, in Romans chapter 6, verses 1 through 5. Here's the thing. A lot of us have watched a baptism, maybe even our own children's, and we walked away thinking, "That was
