I had just heard from a source (and it’s now been confirmed in other news) that the American Psychological Association (APA) may lose its accreditor status for clinical psychology programs. The National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity, a federal advisory board, recommended suspending the APA’s accreditor status for 1 year.
