Princeton professor Roy Jackson, who applied mathematical rigor to the study of flowing mixtures to shape a new era of chemical engineering, died on July 20. He was 94. Jackson, the Class of 1950 Professor of Engineering and Applied Science, Emeritus, and professor of chemical engineering, emeritus, joined the Princeton faculty in 1982 and transferred to emeritus status in 1998.
