I was reading a book recently and came upon this term, oubliette. I vaguely remembered this in the recesses of mind however I had forgotten what it meant. The plot of the book is not particularly important other than that it’s about an astronaut who is trapped in a type of ancient alien labyrinth. It is a seemingly never ending maze created by long dead aliens that defies physics and he is trapped there.
