I can’t believe I’m writing this, but… I’m hosting an 8 day painting retreat in southern France in June 2027! When the art trip company Uptrek reached out this spring, I assumed it was a scam email. An invitation to teach watercolor to a small group at a fancy manor with a private chef in Europe?! It seemed too good to be true, so I didn’t reply. But when they followed up and I did my research, I realized that some of my favorite illustrators (Rebecca Green! Lara Call Gastinger! Gayle Kabaker!)
