    Blackberries: a word that guarantees my little ones will be grabbing their shoes and hurrying out the door! My children (and their clothes) seem to be permanently stained purple at the moment.     Since I was little, I’ve always thought in colours and to me August will always feel golden. Spring brings the buttery yellow of wild primroses.
