INTERVIEWING THE ABYSS (opens the original)
Read excerpt
If MODERNITY has a central thesis, it is that its innovations constitute progress—economic, scientific, technological, political, social, moral—and that progress is an automatic and absolute good. The present is better than the past, runs the progressive argument, and the future will be better than the present (once we get rid of all the pesky, pale-skinned reactionaries, at any rate). Despite the braying of progressives who support these conceits, I call bullshit. I believe that there has not b
SEVEN SINS REBRANDED, PART I: SLOTH (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Sloth is one of the most widespread and easily recognisable of the seven deadly sins; MODERNITY, particularly modern technology and the technocrats who peddle it, makes a virtue of it.<img alt="" class="sizing-normal" height="1086" src="htt
ETYMOLOGY V: NPC YELLS AT OTHER NPCS (opens the original)
Read excerpt

The depressing reality is that all news media produce content that is tightly scripted, highly targeted, biased, sensational, and crafted to induce emotional reactions in its consumers. Secondly,
MY LAST SERVING OF GOY SLOP? (opens the original)
Read excerpt
These days, I live in a small town in southern Ontario, and on the whole do not regret relocating from the anti-human, alienating nightmare of life in the city of Toronto. Life here is much quieter, much slower, and much more pleasant; I have no desire ever to return to the city. However, practical necessities occasionally arise that force me to travel to the nearest urban centre, which for me is the city of Sarnia. Recently, I decided that I could no longer put off buying a new pair of glasses.
