At this point, most moviegoers know what a Liam Neeson looks like. He is put in dangerous situations but it is okay because he has a “particular set of skills” and will end up saving the day no matter what. That’s not exactly what you get here. What you do get is the tale of a group of soldiers back in Afghanistan to retrieve something that they left behind. The story is compelling, the characters very well played and the conclusion is not what you will expect but it works well.GRADE C+

This movie stars Andrew Garfield as the legendary character and the leader of a rebellion against none other than British King Richard II. Toy Story 5 (opens the original)

    Excerpt · Positive tone

    Read excerpt

Few movies get four sequels, fewer movies produce an excellent fifth film. Toy Story 5 is the rare exception and it does so with aplomb making it one of the most enduring movie series. The Toy Story gang is up in arms when a new toy shows up, actually an electronic device which seems to threaten the old school toys. Toy Story 5 is a charming and funny visit with some great old friends and a message that posits that maybe electronic toys have a place in the toy box. Deservedly, the Pixar folks are

    Disclosure Day (opens the original)

    Excerpt · Positive tone

    Read excerpt

Emily Blunt plays a weather person on the local news who begins to hear, and to understand, communications from aliens on our planet. Disclosure Day does not shy away from tough questions but challenges the audience to a big ‘What If?”.Disclosure Day has big thoughts, big ideas and big questions. It is also like a great roller coaster ride…is it perfect? No, but what a fun and unique concept.GRADE B-
