From backyards to a baseball stadium to downtown Greeneville, fireworks lit the skies of Greene County late into the evening of Saturday, July 4. It was the 250th anniversary of the day the Second Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
