In This episode we continue to see how Saul’s jealousy of David leads to him trying to kill David. If we are experiencing any jealousy, we must be honest with God about it and ask God to remove it. Jealousy can take you to an ugly place just like it took Saul over. We also see in this episode how God’s favor is on David and how God blesses every thing David does. This is true for us as well. As ‘King’s kids’, God prospers us, and gives us blessings and favor in all we do. We should expect God’s

One take away from this episode is that Goliath can represent any problem or situation that we think is too big or too hard for us. It doesn’t matter how big the situation seems, our God is bigger. In this episode, Saul’s failure to obey God cost him the kingdom. God rejected him as king. What can we learn from Saul? That it is better to obey God and do things His way. He knows what is best for us and He has a reason for what ever He tells us to do. Our God is all knowing. We just need to trust Him. #foryou #foryoupage #biblestudy #samuel #saul #amalek #david #king #christian @readingthroughthebiblewith3242

As the Israelites continue to fight with the Philistines we saw that Jonathan became a hero because he believed God would help them and God did. Let’s pray for that kind of crazy faith that knows our God will help us and defeat our enemies no matter how outnumbered we appear to be. #christian #faith #samuel #saul #jonathan #biblestudy #oldtestament @readingthroughthebiblewith3242
