Why is September always so hectic? I don’t have kids to send back to school — or drop off at college — but this month always feels jam packed, and I wind up with bruising fomo over every music festival, dance performance, and gallery opening I’m not attending. Next weekend, though, one thing I will be doing is working at the University of Illinois Press tent at Chicago’s Printers Row Lit Fest.
