NHS waiting lists rise for fourth month in a row in Wales proving Plaid incompetence (opens the original)

Excerpt · Critical tone · English

    Read excerpt

If you want proof of how incompetent and totally bereft of ideas Plaid are, well the news today, that NHS waiting lists have increased for the fourth month in a row. Having seen the current health minister asked about this on TV, his answer was pathetic, blaming it on the weather. Allied to Plaid blaming Labour for their first bill failing in the Senedd. It's proof that Plaid Cymru came into power without any idea how to resolve the problems Labour left them to clear up, and sadly they have prov

In 2025, Welsh road injuries and deaths reached highest level since 2019 (opens the original)

Excerpt · Critical tone · English

    Read excerpt

So conclusive proof now that Mark Drakeford’s 20mph default programme is an unmitigated disaster. The highest figures for injuries and deaths since 2019 were recorded in 2025. That Drakeford could just blanket Welsh roads with a 20mph limit without any investigation work, then expect local councils to pay for those roads deemed to have been incorrectly lowered to 20mph, to revert back to 30mph is unthinkable. He wasted the best part of £50 million, yes £50 million of taxpayers’ money. Additional

Questions over 'more dangerous' roads as 20mph limit doesn't apply to cyclists (opens the original)

Excerpt · Critical tone · English

    Read excerpt

Hopefully the transport minister can explain why a 20mph speed limit was imposed for vehicles on numerous roads, but NO, yes, NO limit put on cycles. Far from making Welsh roads safer, this has made the roads far more dangerous. I've been overtaken on numerous occasions by cyclists, creating ludicrous situations. Just shows how little preparatory work Mark Drakeford undertook, despite spending nearly £50 million.

First Minister's budget 'a stupid thing to waste time and money on' (opens the original)

Excerpt · Critical tone · English

    Read excerpt

So our new First Minister Rhun ap Iorwerth admits he has made mistakes. Well that is not true, he knew when he presented the budget because he does not have a majority, it would not get passed. So it was a stupid thing to waste time and money on. Secondly his transport minister is just as naive, in saying the M4 relief road is not in their plans, it is the only logical solution, closing junctions is farcical it will create worse tailbacks, more emissions. Plaid have proved in a short time they a

'Final U-turn' by Starmer, who was like a 'fish out of sea' during leadership (opens the original)

Excerpt · Critical tone · English

    Read excerpt

So a final U-turn by the worst and most incompetent Prime Minister ever. His awful waste of money when PM, flying off around the world, should not be forgotten. He should be named and shamed; he came into power with absolutely no plan and did nothing in two years. But yes he did, he appointed Peter Mandelsson, probably one of the worst appointments ever by a PM, and he appointed Rachel Reeves as chancellor, probably the worst, most incompetent, unqualified chancellor ever. She wrecked the jobs i
