    Talking is so much easier than writing.Speaking, for me, is effortless. Writing takes time. Maybe it takes the same amount of time as talking, but it’s a different kind of time. It’s hard time. It’s more concentrated and more visceral. It’s taking words individually by the hand and walking them uphill, someplace else entirely. It’s magnifying their meaning, or conversely, shrinking it down. It’s stirring them into batter and then baking an entire cake. It’s waiting while they bake, and inhaling
