    Last July was the centennial of the famous Scopes “monkey trial” in Dayton, Tennessee. I went to Dayton to film a documentary about Dayton’s centennial observances of the trial that, for about ten days, made their small town the center of the world’s attention. The documentary, The Scopes Trial: 100 Years Later, has been out for about a year now, but it’s been posted on the National Association of Scholars’ YouTube channel.
