LoML and I spent the end August at our beautiful granddaughter’s wedding on Sunset Beach in North Carolina. It was wonderful and casual (exactly what we like)… and hot and muggy (exactly what we don’t). Thankfully at beachside we enjoyed a breeze that cooled us down and did beautiful and dramatic things to the bride’s wedding dress.<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" href="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!RARA!,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-m

I’m stoked. It’s been ages since I scheduled and actually had a Pajama Day. They are rare and altogether brilliant. My concept for the day is that I don’t do anything I don’t want to do. And all I want to do for the entire day is read. Without a clock. Without a task whispering in my head. When I worked in what was basically a 9-5, the idea of a Pajama Day never occurred to me. Probably a good thing.<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" href="https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!3QX5!,f
