I have tried to write this newsletter several times, but circumstances have prevented it. Many of our authors are continuing to participate in bookstore events. We are releasing several more books this fall including the much-anticipated, Living Florilegium anthology exploring the act of human creation in the AI age. And we are getting ready for a variety of events at the Easton Book Festival, a mere two weeks away.I got an email last week that surprised me— the copyright registration system at

Gayle was also excited to find a Eureka vacuum cleaner ghost sign. When we entered the small shop, there were people in there buying books. Visit their website here. The vibes o

I often hear people lament that they commit themselves to tasks they don’t enjoy. This saddens me— because life is too short for wasting time, and because success doesn’t count if what it takes to get there makes you miserable.Sometimes we are trapped in jobs we hate, or we can’t afford to move out of a living situation. But many times, we do it to ourselves. So, if you can’t stand the book you bought on a whim, don’t finish reading it. If you serve on a board that drains you far beyond whatever
