The Freakonomics podcast had me thinking about oxymorons. Those concepts whose constituent parts are mutually exclusive, e.g. utopian pragmatism. The architect Bjarke Ingels claims they are his secret sauce and the challenge of bringing two impossible elements together leads us to create unique and brilliant things.
