We’re harvesting our wine grapes here on The Most Beautiful Farm in the World! We are in awe of the farm workers, especially the grape pickers. They arrive at dawn and work SO hard and SO fast, literally running up and down the rows with heavy buckets full of grapes. Many of them are women. They are paid by the bucket and earn about $50 an hour, but it is exhausting and demanding work.So next time you enjoy a glass of wine, toast the workers who harvested the grapes and made it possible.We hope

Harvest approaches! Grapes are ripening, apples crowd the branches, and deer and bears are salivating, for they love the fruit as it ripens and sweetens. We thought we’d share some scenes of deer from our wildlife cameras because while the stars of our footage are the bears and mountain lions, the most tender scenes are of does and their fawns.Aren’t they ridiculously cute?We’re getting ready for the grape and apple harvest, which will be later this month.
