    Some days it takes a lot to even shower. And I don’t mean that metaphorically. I mean as in literally, like at least a couple of days this week. There are things I haven’t told you yet. And it’s not that I’m holding back, but as I’ve said many times before — some things should be lived before they’re written about. Retrospect is everything. Time to process is essential. And also, the living shouldn’t be interrupted by trying to interpret its meaning for others. I already spend enough of my time

    Just now I went back and read the last thing I posted here on Substack — dated Sunday, June 28th, 2026. Somewhat ironically, Sunset Edition was a part of its title. I had no idea it would be an entire season before I felt enough light inside of me to share again. I’d been pretty consistent from the top of the year until then. Nearly six months, I’d shown up here each and every Sunday. I’m still very proud of that. But listen. This year has been like some sort of portal, taking me somewhere else.
