Forgive me, all who aren’t familiar with the drama du jour in the world of golf. I don’t have the energy for a full recap. TLDR: legacy publicly traded billion-dollar brand co-produced a product with a baby brand born out of a YouTube golf channel, then made an ad to sell said product. The ad seemed to depict, and oddly glorify, violence — more specifically domestic violence — in the name of a coveted drive.
