My last newsletter was written from Darwin in our Northern Territory… probably the most remote place RWA could have chosen for a conference! However it was worth the long drive north to enjoy some warm weather and catch ups with dear friends… and of course three days of fabulous information sharing! Having driven to Darwin, we then had to get home and we took two weeks to cross over into Queensland and then down through outback Queensland and New South Wales before hitting Victoria and home! All

I escaped the winter drears and headed north to the Romance Writers of Australia conference which this year is being held in Darwin - Northern Territory . Possibly about the most remote place on the Australian continent to hold a conference but at least it is warm - very warm! And if you ever wonder exactly how big Australia is, I can tell you that it took us 6 days of hard driving to get there - and that is solid 6-10 hours driving per day.
