Remembering September 11th, 2001 on the 25th anniversary of the event (opens the original)
Read excerpt
I wasn’t going to write anything about the 25th anniversary of 9/11, but then felt inspired to do so after coming across the most insane conspiracy theory about it that I’ve ever encountered. And that’s a high bar to clear. The theory in a nutshell is that the planes hitting the twin towers in New York on that day were holograms and nothing in fact happened in the real physical world. It was Mossad or whoever was behind it using CGI to fool us into thinking the terrorist incident occurred at all

Above is another Beatles video, for those who liked the first one. I will do them so long as people keep responding positively to them, or when I run out of ideas for related videos, whichever comes first. That has little to do with what I’m writing about today though.I want to keep this post positive, since as I said in the last article, there is already too much negativity in the world, and I want to try and be more focused on how we change things for the better, not just complaining about eve
What Burnham gets right and both the Tories and Reform get wrong: the power of positivity (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Above is a link to a video that is only related to the story below by dint of the fact that they both come from the same place within my brain, namely my inability to keep being so negative about everything. I tried to come up with something I both love and know something about and landed on an analysis of the early Beatles song, “She Loves You” and why it’s so musically inventive and brilliant, with the aid of a guitar and some occasionally wayward singing. Watch if you dare.It goes without say
