9/13-9/18- We made our way back to mainland Sicily for the last leg of our trip, six glorious days in the adorable seaside town of Castellammare del Golfo. CDG sits on Sicily’s rugged northwest coast, about forty-five minuets west of Palermo, and is one of the loveliest Italian towns I have had the pleasure of visiting. 9/10-9/13- We left Palermo bright and early and headed to the magical island of Favignana, recently made famous by what the Sicilians refer to as “Mr. Nolan’s Movie”, aka The Odyssey.
