When i feel like life is getting me down, pasta is a sure way to make me feel better. For me, there’s something deeply nostalgic about it. Growing up, we’d often visit my nonna’s house and arrive to the aroma of fried garlic and tomatoes sizzling on the hob. It’s quite incredible the way in which a familiar smell can evoke such strong feelings of home.
