After visiting La Coruna, Spain, “the edge of the world,” Lisbon feels very different.La Coruña felt like standing at the edge of the unknown, and while there I could feel that edge in my own life and look out across the vast ocean and big sky. I was standing both literally and figuratively at the end of everything I currently know, with the unknown stretched before me. The ancient lighthouse reminded me that I don’t need to see the whole ocean to remain oriented.
